Hey guys
As much as I’m sorry to say it on the back of several other guild members quitting (Zebidy, Cherry, ?orky, Dorey etc), I feel my time to leave the guild has come too. It’s a decision I’ve been contemplating for quite a while now but one I’d been putting off, however I believe now is the right time to go.
I’ve enjoyed my time in the guild, my favourite times being when I joined just under a year ago. Perhaps this is because I enjoyed the lower level quests more, however I do agree with opinions voiced that the guild no longer has the same friendly atmosphere it had in those days and this has contributed towards my decision, as has the fact that players such as the ones mentioned above who I’ve known and been friendly with for some time have left. Back then it was a lot smaller and personal which is what I was looking for in a guild, however with the recent increase in size Dread Lords no longer seems to offer this set up (however I can fully understand and appreciate the reason for this growth, it just doesn’t suit me personally).
Due to other more important events that will be taking place in real life over the next few months, it’s highly unlikely I’ll be playing the game much (if at all) and I’m unsure if I’ll ever go back to playing it as much as I have been. Therefore I’m leaving the guild with immediate effect. Perhaps some day I'll return if you're still happy to have me
though i can't see it being any time soon.
So as mentioned above, my decision is a combination of the changes in the guild and real life issues. I’ll miss you, this is my first and only guild, however I’ve made up my mind on this decision and feel it’s for the best. I’ll still remain friendly with Dread Lords members and play with you if I’m about and available (which probably won’t be for a while).
