Hey again guys an gals
new idea for the day - picture hosting.
i know we used to have a couple of photos on the site, but how about having a slice of webspace to upload all our new screenshots to, then posting the link on the messageboard on a thread (that hopefully could be sticked by a senior member). i am more than happy to host pictures on my website, so if anyone likes the idea let me know and we can sort something out

sorry about the vague last post, i was posting in the middle of a particulary tedious ICT lesson. so, my full proposal  i am fully aware we have pictures on the website of players and various other things (nice to see you guys for real  but i thought it would be nice to have our own, guild controlled slice of webspace. so, here we go i know there are quite a few web hosting places out there, and i can understand why people would use them, but they also sometimes lose pictures and therefore broken links; and no photos. with a guild pic host, we could keep our photos on the area, and let people see all the other pictures we decide not to clog the site with. this could possibly evolve into some sort of "pic of the day" spinoff, except maybe on a weekly/ bi-daily basis. i think this might improve guild participation, as it would promote a healthy interest in the sight and keep a chronicle of how the guild has grown, like a photo diary almost. all in all, it would be something to remember in case of disconnetion, and a way of remembering what everybody looks like before the DLcon let me know what you guys think, and can i just make it clear that this in no way will replace the original (and in my opinion, a classic  ) website, but merely enhance it i can have a sample up live in as little as 2 hours from conformation, through the miracle of Dreamweavr, but if you guys dont like the idea, thats fine too i would also be happy to give access to anyone who required it (within reason) and i would be open to any critical comments (within reason  ) Grum p.s. sorry if this is in the wrong location |

Please, by no means think i am forcing this upon the guild, but with me having a wow blockout for a few days (eye trouble) i did a quick sample. if nothing else, have a look at it, i uploaded some screenshots i found in my folder so you can see me when i was an ikle warrior. im gonna upload as i get more, and save space on this site, but if anyone wants to contribute let me know. dreadlordspictures.mysite.wanadoo-members.co.ukGrum |
