Just thought I'd post a few links with some helpful info and advice for us locks. The links are in no particular order and some of the info is a bit old, but I hope you find some of it useful. wowmb.net/content/Warlock-Talents.htmwww.wowwiki.com/Warlock_Talentsen.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warlock_(World_of_Warcraft)69.41.171.43/warlock.htmIn addition I've a load of really useful advice from the lock expert in my Alliance guild - however this would mean plagiarising their web-site and I'm unsure of the ethics of this. Perhaps one of the senior members here could advise me? I'm having great fun learning the ways of the Warlock and I know we've some extremely accomplished locks in the Guild. Any more advice would be very much appreciated

TYVM, Imm - i'll certainly have a look at this when i can spare the time soon! As regards plagiarism, to ensure full recognition for their achievements, why not ask the site designers if you can put a link in to their site on these pages? That way they can still claim ownership, but we get the benefit of their experience. They are welcome to browse this site too, even if they did have the misfortune of rolling an alliance toon first Ayb

Hehe ;D. Good idea re the link - I'll ask. I'd had a couple of questions recently about talents etc etc so there's obviously folks out there who would benefit from some of this; it is mostly standard stuff so I'm not sure how useful it's gonna be to those of higher lvl but I guess you can never have too much information

this is a copy of a post i've just put on the vexillum forum. it concerns an add-on called "Necrosis LdC" www.curse-gaming.com/mod.php?addid=3089highly recommended, so much so that it removes the need for smart banish. i was able to keep my firesworn virtually in the same place. the bit that make it so helpful was the graphical countdown timer - made me much more mana-efficient on all fights. it short, it does the same job as shardtracker, only better, imo. using the cd timer, i was able to recast my banish at 1 second left, meaning the banish hit after the mob had been active for .5 sec... on other fights i was able to keep my DoT's on consistently by reapplying them as they wore out, rather than trying to work out which icon was mine i think this add-on also adds a HS distributor function (tho it may have been another that i dl'ed tonight) which automatically places a HS in and accepts when a trade window is opened. - handy for raggy loads of other features, like an audible Shadow-trance notification, make the add-on unmissable as far as i'm concerned
