ok,
ive been looking around the internet for advice and this is what i have come up with.
In the mandy room we kill everything; every mob, that includes the 3 that we usually leave. save the ambassador till last.
Everyone gets behind the spikes. (priests, mages, hunters, druids)
someone offtanks the raptor, the OT has to be kept above 20%
Everyone then kills Mandy while the offtank does theyre thing.
then we zerg the raptor.
job done
Some suggestions -- Rogues vanish and bandage (dont expect a heal) -- use anything that will increase your DPS -- potions potions potions -- traquility totems for the healers.
if Jugg will allow i think we should try out this stratergy this week comming...
what ya think ?

Cheers for that Cog, but I think it's a slightly older guide you've found. Before a couple of patches ago (1.10 or there abouts) you could stand behind the spkies and Mandy would not be able to charge you - you could just open up on him with little worry about anything. For some reason Blizzard decided this was not really in the spirit of the encounter and removed a spike or two so you are now fully chargable. Which ever road we take; Whether we Ot the raptor or kill him (both approaches have + and - points about them) the single thing that makes or breaks this encounter is people being on thier toes about being watched. This encounter simply boils down to if Mandokir is watching you, you need to stop everything within a second or two. If you don't you will get charged and 9/10 times killed with one hit. Every player that dies makes Mandokir stronger and by the time 5 or 6 people have died he will be near impossible to kill. It's definitely a tough fight, so there's no shame in wiping like we did there on Tuesday especially as it was so late...
