While we're at it, on tuesday the Totem of Storm (http://www.thottbot.com/?i=53660) dropped off some trash mob in ZG. It remained undecided whether the totem should be need/greeded or bought with DKP. What do you ppl say we should do with random rare+ quality BoE loot? I might point out that a Seven of Beasts also dropped, and was need/greeded. Kem has the totem in his backpack, still quite unused  . He was the only shaman during the run and is quite prepared to pay DKP for the totem if needed. |

I think that players should be able to bid on BoE items with their points. We're not a mercenary guild, I'd like to think that all of us would rather see a guildie make use of an item than sell it. Isn't that the DreadLords way?
Ofc, if no-one wants an item then it can be randomed between the group and sold/saved whatever you want really.
So I vote for being able to bid on all blue/purple BoE's (greens can be randomed as normal I think), THEN if no-one wants them they can be randomly distributed within the group...

From the discussion that went on no one had a problem with you having it Kem so my vote is you keep it.
I think if there had been more than one Shaman you would have rolled off but this is an on going discussion on looting, so I'd say that any system would work as long as everyone knows how / what to expect
Bidding dkp (with no low bid) seems about the fairest on random boe then a roll off if no one wants, just make sure everyone is upto speed on whats happening a few days before.
The only drawback of this is the time it will take. so a speed up of bidding may be required.

As a newbie here, i think this system seems fair. Those that put their life on the line for the cause, get first refusal at the rewards!! Whatever is left over is open to all to purchase. This also allows characters that have very little dkp but need coins etc have the chance to aquire the items - albeit at a cost, lol.
But i am happy with whatever the regular guildies decide, I am new here and i'm happy to go with the flow!!

You're set up now. However I won't be running the raids any longer. I don't know if a raid is planned tonight or not but come next week I hope we'll be sorted with a new raid leader...
