im gonna be getting it for the xbox on the 13th may has anyone got it or planning to get it?
i have heard that its solid even compared to previous editions which doesnt get me much hope as they were solid as well :S

I went with the Football Manager 2005 by Sports Interactive, rather than CM5 by Eidos. Eidos and Sports Interactive went their separate ways last year some time becaus Eidos were wanting a larger share of the profits. This sparked a scramble for who would release their version of the footie management sim first. Quite simply, CM5 has been slated primarily because its pants and Sports Interactive own all of the stats and licences for the whole CM series - they did come up with it after all. The very greedy Eidos were allowed to keep the brand name but other than that, nothing about the CM5 game is the same as the previous editions. Its slow, cumbersome, doesnt use real player names, the graphics are pap - need I go on? Sorry Az, but if you want to buy any Football manager sim, buy FM2005 - dont take my word for it, read the reviews.  |
