Cool, tho I remember Ayb saying something along the same lines too some time back I changed my HEL-MAN flight date to April 11th as it was the only available date with Finnair (switched to Finnair from SAS as I saved 120 euros on it). This means I have one more day in sunny old England ^^

Well then DL's you are obviously truely honored! I will be attending after all, think I'll have to bring the GF as I think she thinks that the guild is full of women or something ;D Can someone tell me what the plan is then, I'm assuming I travel up on the Friday and leave on Sunday, are we all staying in one hotel? Let me know. Oh BTW this is also my Bday weekend, so its the big 30 for me so be nice Z.

well as some of you know I have decided to come along to this. It is an imposition on my part as I have not been with the Guild long at all though I had played with a few of you before I joined, If anybody would rather I did not come, tell me and I will stick my tongue out at you. I will not chose to stay with you Freja, though thanks for the offer, I will either stay with my family or book a hotel as I like staying in hotels - will this mean then that day two of the conf will be held in Preston? *shudder*.
What is the plan for the weekend? touristy things, or drinking all day both days, or what? shopping? there are some lovely galleries and a host of theatres and lots and lots of shops so there should be enough to keep everyone entertained.
tbh I am nervous as hell...

first and formost, quicker you are most welcome to come. Can't think of anyone that would say otherwise. So my flights are booked but i don't arrive in manchester till 6.30 pm cos i gotta work on Friday I think i'm going to do the hotel thing also, but a huge thanks to Freja for the invite anyway. i should be ready to go at about 8pm by the time i get to the hotel and have a wash and a few buds, so just say where I'm heading for and I'll be there in a party mood.

Hey all
Time is closing in on our little get together. In a few weeks we will all be gathered but!.... Where to be what to do what to see??
First I want to make sure that all are on my little list if not I will ask you to sign in before the 5 of April.!!!!
On the list in random order is: (drum roll plz)
Kementari Aybabtu Dustin windtalker serv Test Tube Baby quicker zebidy + GF ?orky
Kem, Ayb¡¦u, Windy, Dustin & I will be in "the" house in Preston and I was hoping I could lure the rest to get a hotel in Preston or stay in the house aswell I have my reasons for this so here goes! 1) we have a place to be during the day when we are not in the pub 2) we could have our own little get to know each other party 3) we have 2 cars so we can easily come around a bit cheaper 4) Ill pick people up in Airports, at train stations 5) There is a hotel just around the corner from the house 6) We don¡¦t have to travel drunk 7) And we don¡¦t have to take the train till and from Manchester! 8) And last we might even save a bit of money this way.
Now tell me what you think, but I for one would like to spend as much time with you all as possible. We could even play munchkin.
Well I have said my ideas now the rest is up to you
I almost forgot... Beer is cheaper in a supermarket!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and I have danish boze id like you to try
Hugs Freja

For those of you not wishing to join us at the house, there is a hotel that is about 10 minutes walk away. It is located just at the junction of the M6 and the M55. Here are the details for it:
Ibis Preston North 0870 7654641 01772 861800 01772 861900 3 Garstang Rd Preston, PR3 5JE

No room at the Inn I'm afraid. The holiday Inn is also fully booked. Anywhere else you would suggest? Tinternet seems to be drawing a blank on hotels in Preston.

Ok, a more thorough search has come up with the Marriott which is 4 miles from the city center and 78 quid a night, or the Swallow hotel, 5 miles away and 69 new pounds a night. Everywhere else seems to be fully booked. Both would be a fairly short and inexpensive taxi ride I'm guessing. I think I'll go with the Marriott if the Prestonites think it's within range.
