thanks, you saved me a fiver im more worried about you counting the (vaguely) nude scenes though lol anyone seen the Bill Bailey stand ups? (i know aybs a fan) theyre hilarious! i still need to see part troll, but i love bewilderness to quote a bit that springs to mind, "ah, a man with a beard. maybe this is jazz" but i think that may have beed cosmic jam...

No grum I think your right in that his "ah perhaps this might be Belgian jazz" is used in the start of Cosmic jam and Bewilderness standups; just like the Michael Bolton/Meat Loaf stars in their eyes regional finalist gag. I have been to see all his standup routines live and I am a big fan. I recomend Part Troll if only for the Kraftwerk tribute and his scale of Evil.

im intending to see part troll as soon as possible, my friends have been talking about the argos gag for ages and im desperate now and me and a friend have taken up performing songs from bewilderness whenever provoked "When a bunch of skinheads walked through the door and snatched the little wooden fork Debbie, she looked at me, to assert my masculinity i said "OY!" they said "What?!" i said "Nuffink"" cat crys out in the night.... Grum

I found them almost exactly the same. I think Bill is a genius but he needs newer material. My favourite of his songs is "Beautiful ladies in danger" which kills me everytime I hear it. I have a half full mug on my desk and his Medieval Roadie jumper which is fun. I think he and I are very similar in many ways...

Bill bailey is superb - saw part troll live at St George's Hall in Bradford. He actually phoned flamingoland to ask for a brochure about swimming with dolphins after the interval. made intelligent heckle - hung around after the show to get him to sign my Black Books boxset. he posed for a photo to promote the school rock fest that was about to be performed - at Grum's school as it happens - i'll try and send someone the photo.
Jolly nice chap.

agreed, he is a nice guy, though the dolphin stunt, and calling the pizza he has done at several shows as I have seen him lots of times. He could be my dad.
