This is one of those questions that are very difficult to give a definite answer to, but I'll give it a try. If I split my answer up into categories, it helps Comedy: This one is easy. The absolutely best comedy ever is Monty Python's The Holy Grail. Action: Tougher. Maybe Aliens or The Terminator. The Indiana Jones trilogy. SciFi: Aliens (yes, it fits into several categories), the original Star Wars trilogy. Fantasy: Conan the Barbarian, LotR Horror: Oooh, this one is hard. Maybe something with Vincent Price.. Or perhaps some italian movie from the 70's or 80's.. Really can't say. Drama: Don't really watch drama movies that much, but I guess movies like Troy fit into it. Oh yeah, Schindler's List and Empire under the Sun Musical: Phantom of the Opera (2004) or Moulin Rouge. //Kem

Hmm favourite movie of all time? that's tricky, but a really good movie i came across lately is "L.A. confidential". Quite fastpaced and a bit hard to follow the first time, but it has great multiple intertwined storylines good action. Imdb link www.imdb.com/title/tt0119488/

is everyone purposfully forgetting "saving private ryan"?? i mean, that film was amazingly gory, the story line is a bit strange though. also the "Hellraiser" films were fun to watch, but a bit old now.
