As the title suggests, i've had enough. Many of you will know that my PC is somewhat unstable, but now it is worse. I cant stay online for longer than 15 mins now, and have found out that it is not a heat problem. I will not be logging online until i have a new PC. To all i say thankyou for being there, having the laughs and everything.
Goodbye all and i hope to see you all again when i have a working PC

Oww man I guess you've tried every trick known to man by now in order to fix your compy? Can you describe the problem a bit more? Maybe we can think up something?

Kem, i've done all i can with this machine. However i *might* have a job so i could get a new compy in about maybe a month or so, but i might be able to come on for a while every so often

You can pretty easily find out if it's a memory problem if you haven't already tried running diagnostics. Grab the iso image of Memtest86 from this site www.memtest86.com/ , burn it onto a CD and boot your computer with it. Let it run all tests (i think there are 9 of them, and the thing loops so it will start from the beginning when it's done, takes about 30min) and if it shows any errors, you know there's a problem with your RAM. If you get errors, and you have more than one RAM module, take out all but one and test them one at a time, if you have more than two, pair them up in all combinations to find out which module/combination of modules is to blame. If you're lucky, you might get away with only needing to replace a £40 RAM module.
