interesting indeed! While Aybabtu is not unique, my other toons, Idatae, Iwmyitlato and Dintejan all are - along with the banks, Bintie, Twinklejen and Yaattawo. my reserved name Meisca is also unique - so other than Ayb, only my Gf's toon "torie" has other incarnations on TH.
WH is a similar story - Aybabtu exists there, Aybabtoon and Aybabtoo are unique, but the name Aybabtwo is used by a tauren druid on US Boulderfist (amusingly the same class picked by my brother for his Ayb-based parody, Aybabta)
Agrammar sees the presence of my alliance alts, created last year because i wanted to have a toon of every class and race, but didn't want to meet horde friends on TH... so little have they been played that not one of them has made it past level 8, and i can only remember 2 names, but nagus and hearne are both commonplace.

Dicovered this Web page a while ago just to find that 'Aramar', my ingenious and original creation, has 88 replicas across the realms (why can't people come up with their own names!?). Ocram even has 127 -- no suprise here. To feel a little more unique, I came to think that only lvl 60ies really count. After all, those lower lvls are surely abandoned alts. This leaves just 8 Aramars and 18 Ocrams...much better ;-) Interestingly, the name of my little warrior alt is truly unique (Google-wide), although every greek I met on TH immediately recognized it  ) I'm also feeding some data into this Web site from time to time through the CensusPlus mod. It's interesting to see detailed statistics for characters, classes, etc. per guild/server in game. At some point, in Dread Lords, we had an unusual high population of undeads vs. comparatively few tauren (this may have been skewed by incomplete data, though). But I think we are about server average now. So, recruit more undead lords, plx! 'cause, where's the 'Dread' in a cute little cow ;-) |
